Shared Sessions

In case you haven’t noticed (since, well, we didn’t publicise it correctly) last month we started a new offline event called Shared Sessions which allows us to meet for a couple of relaxed talks.

The idea is simple – two of our members talk for two hours about any topic they want (as long as it is related to technology) which is followed by a Q&A time.

The first session inaugurated with Marco Talento talking about building applications with Node.JS and Typescript and he was followed by me (Filipe Mendes) who tried to explain that “Android, is more than an UI”. If you couldn’t be present, check our speakerdeck for the presentations!

We invite everyone to join us in our next session on 27th of May that will host Tiago Martins (our “Scottish” member) talking about Unity3D and João Junceira pondering on how one of our startups failed.

In case you want to join us for our free sessions, check our meetup channel !

As an Android Developer, I believe that every application should be as simple and as easy to use as possible. Currently a GDG Lisbon organizer.
